敬老院(geracomium)也称安老院、养老院，是一些社区服务的机构，是为老人提供住宿和日常起居照顾的地方，工作人员分为社工、护士、医生、义工及助理员等，提供的是老人服务。西方国家的养老院通常由地方政府或慈善机构主办，接收靠福利救济或低收入的老人。中国的敬老院是在农村实行“五保”的基础上发展起来的。
